Sudan Memory Project: Safeguarding the Nation’s Heritage

The Sudan Memory Project has officially been launched to document and digitally preserve Sudan’s historical archives as part of ongoing efforts to protect the country’s cultural heritage.

By the end of the project’s latest phase, the dedicated team had successfully converted more than 200,000 historical documents into digital format. This remarkable achievement ensures that Sudan’s invaluable history will be protected from loss or deterioration and will remain accessible for future generations.
